Four Wheeler Trails in Broward County

a local's take on riding quads in Broward

Search "four wheeler trails near me" from anywhere in Broward and you will get a lot of noise. Here is the straight version from people who ride here every week: Broward sits right on the edge of the Everglades, which means some of the best four wheeler terrain in Florida is a short trailer ride west, but the legal, rideable options take local knowledge.

What Broward Terrain Rides Like

West Broward transitions fast from suburbs to sawgrass. Out past Davie, Weston, and Pembroke Pines, the landscape turns into classic Everglades riding: mud trails, water crossings, sugar sand, and levee roads. It is technical, it is wet, and it changes with every rain. A 4x4 four wheeler with real mud tires is the baseline. Two-wheel-drive quads need not apply.

Where Broward Riders Actually Go

There is no public ATV park inside Broward County itself. Local riders head west toward the Everglades, north to Palm Beach County, or make the trip to Big Cypress National Preserve for its 400+ miles of designated ORV trails (permit required). Many of the best local routes are community knowledge, shared rider to rider, which is exactly why group rides matter here.
